About our Founder

Hi, I’m Charlie

I specialise in empowering parents with science-backed, practical guidance across the early years, whether you're navigating feeding, sleep, toddler meltdowns, or potty training.

Founder & Specialist Public Health Nurse

I’m a Specialist Public Health Nurse and the founder of The Healthy Child Co.

I’ve spent more than 15 years working in the NHS, supporting children and families through some of the most exciting and sometimes most overwhelming stages of early childhood.

I created The Healthy Child Co to give parents somewhere they can access trustworthy, evidence-based information without judgement, fear or information overload.

A woman with long brown hair and a gray sweater is smiling at a wooden table with a laptop in front of her, sitting in a cozy room with wooden walls and a potted plant on the wall.

Why The Healthy Child Co?

Working with families, I saw the same thing again and again: parents weren't lacking information. They were drowning in it. Google said one thing. Social media said another. Friends and family had their own opinions. And somewhere amongst all that noise, parents were losing confidence in themselves. I wanted to create something different. A place where child development science is translated into practical, realistic advice, helping parents understand why their child is behaving the way they are, and what they can do to support them.

Because when you understand your child, everything starts to make a little more sense.

My Approach & Philosophy

My mission is simple: to strengthen families by equipping parents with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to raise happy, healthy children.

  • UNDERSTAND THE CHILD

Behaviour is communication. I look at what's happening developmentally before focusing on how to change it.

  • SUPPORT THE RELATIONSHIP
Connection, responsiveness and emotional safety sit at the heart of my approach.

  • MAKE IT WORK IN REAL LIFE
Evidence matters, however advice also has to work at 3am, during a supermarket meltdown or when you've made dinner and your toddler refuses to touch it.

How can I support you?

Whether you're stepping into parenthood for the first time or navigating the complexities of toddlerhood, The Healthy Child Co is here to support you every step of the way. Let’s partner to help your child and you thrive.
